Fire Pipe Clamp Usage in Industrial Factory Fire Protection Piping

Fire protection pipelines in industrial factories face harsher working conditions than ordinary commercial buildings.Continuous mechanical vibration generated by production equipment transmits to fire water pipes.Workshop environment may contain oil mist,chemical vapor and high temperature radiation.All these factors raise higher requirements for fire pipe clamp mechanical strength and environmental adaptability.

Heavy duty fire pipe clamps are commonly selected for industrial fire mains.These clamps adopt thicker metal shells and high strength bolts.Surface anti corrosion treatment is upgraded to resist chemical atmosphere.Rubber cushions are formulated to resist oil and high temperature ageing for workshop conditions.

Factory fire pipelines are often laid along pipe racks.Clamps are installed on steel rack structures.The connection between clamp base and pipe rack must be fully welded or bolt fastened firmly.At pump outlet sections,water hammer vibration is obvious,so extra clamps and vibration damping structures are added to reduce dynamic load.

During factory overhaul,fire pipe clamps should be checked together with fire pumps and valves.Surface corrosion,bolt loosening and rubber hardening need timely handling.Reliable clamp support ensures fire pipelines remain intact when fire accidents happen in production areas and delivers fire water as designed.
