Product Overview
A 90 Degree Pipe Repair Clamp is designed for localized repair of pipeline sections where two pipes meet or change direction at approximately 90 degrees. It can be used to address leakage, cracks, corrosion, and localized mechanical damage around elbow and angled pipe connections.
The repair assembly generally consists of a shaped metal clamp body, sealing gasket, bolts, and nuts. The clamp follows the geometry of the 90-degree connection and applies clamping pressure to the affected area.
Structure and Sealing
The clamp body is configured to accommodate the angle between the connected pipe sections. Its shaped construction allows the repair assembly to cover the connection area without requiring a straight cylindrical configuration.
A sealing gasket is positioned between the clamp and pipe surface to cover the damaged or leaking section. When the bolts are tightened, the clamp compresses the gasket against the pipe and creates a mechanical sealing interface.
