Saddle Repair Clamp Structural Design and Working Principle

Saddle repair clamp is a widely used local pipeline repair fitting.Different from full encirclement clamps,it uses an arc saddle shell to cover the defective area of pipe wall,and relies on bolt pressing to compress the built in rubber gasket to form a sealed barrier.It is specially designed for partial leakage points on straight pipelines.

This clamp is suitable for repairing pinhole corrosion,small cracks and local perforation.It does not need to wrap the whole pipe circumference,which reduces material consumption and installation workload.The saddle profile fits closely with the outer pipe surface to ensure uniform pressure distribution at the leakage point.

It can be applied on ductile iron pipes,steel pipes and plastic pipes in water,gas and industrial fluid systems.The installation process is simple and can be completed quickly in emergency scenarios,effectively reducing pipeline downtime and maintenance costs.
